The grand finale of Dare2Dream, fashion reality show will he held on Sunday at the Federal Palace Hotel Marquee.

In THE days leading to the grand finale, the 18 contestants were assembled in Lagos for a boot camp was filled with activities such as the FCMB Challenge, marketing task, masterclasses in creative directing digital media which was held at the Guardian Digital office, Yaba, where they learnt a whole lot from some of the best brains in the business such as Tomiwa Aladekomo, Kate Williams, and Daryn Wober.

The contestants were given knowledge that would definitely come in handy as they chase their dream of someday becoming household names in the fast-paced world of fashion and modelling.

IMG_0627The contestants were also mentrored by IK Osakioduwa, Tonye Cole and Elohor Aisien who shared their stories to inspire the contestants. IK told the girls of his dyslexia and how he overcame it with a lot of tenacity and hard work and achieve his dream of becoming a media personality.

On his part, Mr Tonye Cole, GMD of Sahara group, advised the girls on the need to make right choices always. “The choice you make determine your future and to realise those dreams you need to wake up,” he said.

image5The contestants were also taken through a whole gamut of beauty masterclasses. For instance, they were taught the importance of grooming and posing in modelling by Bolajo Fawehinmi while Tokyo James tutored the girls on creative directing.

Six of the 18 girls were, however, eliminated during the boot camp based on the outcome of the task given to them in modelling, singing, creative direction for the Canoe Photoshoot, Marketing luxury team work for Imperial Leather and on the FCMB Challenge.
