International Women’s Society inducts new members

The International Women’s SocietyInternational Women’s Society, IWS Nigeria, will be hosting its 63rd and very first virtual induction ceremony for its new members, come Tuesday, October 13th, 2020.
The society will be inducting candidates, (ladies from various walks of life), who have shown great interest in supporting its charity projects, and have satisfied the mandatory membership requirements.
The event, also known as the New Members’ Tea, is traditionally an avenue for the new members to meet and interact with other members, the executive committee and trustees.
IWS Nigeria was founded in 1957 by a group of international and upstanding women in Lagos Society for the nurturing and development of indigent women and children. Over the decades, the society has championed various charity causes and continues to play a vital role in the area of charity work and community service.
IWS Nigeria is proud to be inducting the following ladies into the society, one of whom is Mrs Maiden Ibru, Chairman Guardian Newspapers.
Others are Morenike Ajanaku, Atinuke Ebi-Morris, Olufunke Adebonojo, Binta Adesina, Roli Arinze, Bose Owolabi, Florence Adeoya, Confidence Osein, Funmi Tijani and Olatoun Yusuf.
The list of inductees also include Funlola Fowora, Celestina Ibuwariso, Theresa Charity Owolabi,
Deola Kamson, Adesuwa Esoimeme, Etaborunu Chinwe and Joko Abebe.
