ManifestingHim, a faith-based ministry, has concluded arrangements to hold its programme tagged, “He Will Perfect…Me,” on Friday, July 7, at Pistis Hub, 1A, Ikorodu Road, Maryland Junction, Lagos at 6:00pm. In this interview with The Guardian, the conveyor, Tunde Adebola, shares with the newspaper the gains and benefits of the programme and why Nigerians should attend the event.

Can you tell us what manifestingHim is all about?
ManifestingHim is a faith-based ministry that seeks to help Christians in the marketplace to (i) maximize their impact through identifying, developing and deploying their God-given talents, (ii) initiate and support opportunities within the marketplace to help individuals and corporate bodies derive value from Jesus as Lord and Saviour and (iii) leverage creative use of fun, entertainment, technology, trends and relevant resources to grow the Jesus brand in the marketplace. Our initiatives are anchored on twos scriptures; Romans 8:19 “For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God” and John 12:32 “And I, if I be lifted up, will draw all men unto me.”

We seek to be the leading purveyor of resources that would facilitate the identification, development and deployment of Christians who will make a positive generational impact in the marketplace by building an army of Christians who would relentlessly pursue the fulfilment of their God-given destinies in the marketplace. We are not church-based but work in conjunction with various churches and faith-based institutions that are likeminded. More information is available on our website www.manifestinghim.org

What is the objective of the manifestingHim summit?
The ManfestingHim summit is a crusade that aims to achieve a number of objectives such as provide an avenue to worship God in spirit and in truth, provide an opportunity for people in the corporate world to enjoy the presence of God in an atmosphere of excellence, help the identification of new gospel artistes who have talent but also understand the need for excellence, demonstrate transparency and accountability in the management of finances, promote creativity and opportunities for talents to be released within the gospel entertainment industry and win souls for Christ.

The summit showcases various talents through song, dance, drama, comedy under an ambience of pure worship. It also provides networking event for people across various industries who want to relax and have fun without compromising their values.

Earlier in March, 2017, auditions were held and the purpose was to identify upcoming music ministers with focus on different genres namely; panegyric, R&B, rap, jazz, fuji, classical and comedy. This held at the Lighthouse Christian Outreach Centre in Oregun, Lagos. It was also followed by the first ever edition of the summit tagged #mHS001, which held at the Civic Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos under an electric audience. Guests remained spellbound by various artistes ranging from Regina Joseph, YemiLevite, Da Royalty and Bayo Adekoya. Ace comedians SACO and Damola were on hand to host the event alongside Peju Nkemneme (an HR consultant) cum event hostess. Attendees were drawn from various works of life in the busy Lagos metropolis.

What should we expect at the upcoming summit?
The second edition of the summit will hold on July 7, at the mainland branch of The Elevation Church (also known as The Pistis Hub) in Maryland, Lagos. The theme of this event is: “He will perfect… me,” taken from Psalm 138:8. The event will feature a niche group of artistes, which include veteran gospel artiste Olufunmi (who recently released a new album, You Alone), Funmi Afolarin (who just released a new single Awesome God), YemiLevite, Da Royalty Acapela group and The Big J & Company featuring Elevation’s Priests of Praise. It promises to be exciting and fun for all who are lucky to attend.

How do you fund this laudable project?
Well, I thank God for His faithfulness because He always provides for what He commissions to His children. I started out by using my personal funds to cater for most of the needs but recently God has moved individuals to support in various capacities. I am also grateful to the churches that have opened their doors to support various initiatives. We welcome additional support and have been fortunate to have a team of volunteers made up of men and women who are often too busy to provide regular service in church due to work commitments.

Tell us a bit about yourself
Well, I am a young man of many parts. I like to tell people I am ACE, which is an acronym for an Apostle in the marketplace, a consultant (my work experience includes twelve years in a global consulting firm) and an entrepreneur. Everything I do and have been able to achieve has been by the grace of God. I am happily married to my sweetheart and blessed with three children, Hephzibah, Kezia and David.
