Nigerian musician Chinagorom Onuoha, popularly known as African China, has intensified the ongoing 30 Days Rant Challenge with more videos and documentaries.
The 30 Days Rant Challenge which was initiated by a NYSC corps member, seeks a redress on the nation’s economic challenges. African China contributed by releasing a new song titled Photocopy, which critiques the current administration’s handling of economic issues.
Best known for his early 2000s hits “Crisis” and “Mr. President”, China has long used his music as a tool for protest and change. His latest videos in recent times via his social media handles showcased a blend of music, skits, and documentaries to spotlight the ongoing struggles of ordinary Nigerians.

The campaign, which began quietly on TikTok, has now grown into a digital movement, drawing attention from local activists, artistes, and fans nostalgic for African China’s fearless voice. Each video explores pressing issues such as the value of the Nigerian passport, poor electricity supply, abuse of power, bad roads, hiked in food prices, hunger, importation of low quality goods to the country, amongst others.
African China, who has remained relatively quiet in recent years, appears determined to reclaim his role as a musical activist with the ongoing challenge. With all of these, one thing remains: Nigeria is a blessed country under works, seeking the collective effort of all her citizens for its full bloom.
