While we had a “Workers Day” across the nation, this week did the reverse with all that it had to
offer.

Indeed, it was a week of shattering the tables, ending relationships and everything you could ever imagine.

Here is a quick rundown of the week

Winter Is Here!

Latest episode of the award-winning HBO series.

If you watched Game of Thrones (GOT) Season 8, episode 3, then congratulations, you made history. The Long Night titled-episode which featured the “Battle of Winterfell” broke a record previously held by yours truly Game of Thrones season 6’s “Battle Of The Bastards” after it attracted over 17.08 million viewers. The 82-minute film also became the most-tweeted-about episode of scripted television ever, with nearly 8 million tweets about the episode. Overall, GOT now attracts 38 million viewers. We might as well admit that the 55 days spent filming the episode was worth it. And we wouldn’t even dare forget to add that Arya Stark is the new queen of TV.

The family feud continues

Back in December 2018, the social media space went agog with the good news that one of 2Baba’s baby mamas, Pero Adeniyi and his wife, Annie Idibia had ended their long-standing feud. However, it appears the peace is short-lived as the two appeared to throw shades at each other on Instagram. It is noteworthy that the reported reignited feud is coming on the heels of 2Face travelling to celebrate the birthday of his first child Ehi Idibia whom he shares with Pero as she turned 13. As at the time of writing, both were yet to comment further.

What is this amputations trend?

These are strange times in Brazil. While men in Papua New Guinea are turning to Do-It-Yourself
(DIY) penis enlargement, Brazil’s president Jair Bolsonaro has expressed shock at the number of penis amputations done in his country. With over 1,000 penis amputations done annually, he
described it as “ridiculous and sad.” “In Brazil, we have 1,000 penis amputations a year due to a
lack of water and soap,” he said. “We have to find a way to get out of the bottom of this hole.” He also told reporters that his government must go back to reeducating men on the dangers of poor hygiene.

Tonto shatters the table

Tonto Dikeh went all out in her latest reveal against her ex-husband Olakunle Churchill. Speaking
with pieces of evidence, she accused him of being a “pathetic liar.” Showing a photo of
Churchill’s late father who she says was former president Olusegun Obasanjo’s gardener and a
spiritual leader, she said that she had to put up with the lies because she did not want to end his family’s means of survival. She also mentioned that he is an internet fraudster (Yahoo boy).
