Afro-Soul singer Aramide has released a new EP “Bittersweet” after a long hiatus.

The singer steps out of her comfort zone to deliver a delightful 5-track EP on which she sings about love, fame and wealth, her experiences as a woman, a lover, a mother and a hustler.

Talking about the new EP, Aramide said she wanted to be more vulnerable and relatable to her fans and everyone who listens to “Bittersweet”.

“In making this project, I wanted to share my thoughts, my feelings; everything I have been through while away from music, becoming a mother to the most beautiful girl in the world, everything.

“Bittersweet is from my heart and I hope that everyone who listens can share and experience with me.”

Aramide

Aramide is a multiple award-winning Afro-Soul, Jazz and RnB musician. With a vast experience in the music industry, she has lent her voice in various capacities, some of which include being a member of the Board of Governors of The Recording Academy (the Grammys®), Washington D.C. Chapter (2019-2021), a Country Judge at the Amazing Voices Africa Talent Show, among others.

Aramide is a lover of live music, who plays both the saxophone and guitar. Ever the avid performer, Aramide has performed at the various events in Nigeria, Ghana, United Kingdom, Dubai, United States, Canada and other countries.
