The next addition to Apple’s airpod family are most likely to be called “AirPods Pro”.

Forbes reports its launch will also most likely happen sooner than later and comes in a range of new colors for the earbuds and its charging case.

Since the launch in late December 2016, through the release of the second-generation model on March 20, 2019, demand has been consistently high, usually as fast as Apple can make them.

The proposed “Airpods Pro” looks like it will boast a number of new and exciting features: a new design with new materials and earbuds which will fit more snugly and better protection against any wet encounter. It will also feature more secure flexible ear tips that come with three varying sizes in the box.

In other words, you can wear them comfortably in the rain, for instance.

What’s more fascinating is the report of the Airpod Pro coming with noise cancelling feature. Although Apple is not first with this technology for true wireless in-ears, we can bet fans of the brand will be happy to welcome this inclusion.

In terms of colors, it seems we will also be getting up to eight vibrant color options, the Economic Daily News says. Specified colors include the exact shades found on that other Pro model of the moment, the iPhone 11 Pro, that is, midnight green, gold, silver and space gray.

When will it be released?  It is slated to arrive on October 30 for $249 USD.

Until then, Apple fans are still pretty much enjoying the undying buzz around its iPhone 11 series.
