The 37-year old mother of one got social media space buzzing when she shared photos from her wedding ceremony, which held in Cross Rivers State at the weekend. Many had assumed that the pictures that Mbong shared on her timeline were pictures from a movie set, but when they read the accompanying messages, they wasted no time in congratulating the actress for finding love again. Here is how Mbong announced her marriage to Mr. Sule who a close source hinted is an Abuja based business man: “Surprise! I am married. Everything I have ever dreamt of, God has done. Wow… such a bold statement and dare I say that my life is truly complete. Being drenched in so much love, and surrounded by my closest pals as I celebrated my nuptials this past weekend felt so incredible. God has blessed me with the best of everything’’.

The bird hinted that the star of ‘Evil Queen’, ‘Nna Men’, ‘Ada Mbano’, ‘Chetanna’ and countless movie runs has been a major part of the breakfast plan of sellers and patrons at Onitsha market in the last one week. Femi Adebayo On A Panel At AFRIFF
NOTABLE actor and producer Femi Adebayo was on a panel at the Africa International Film Festival (AFRIFF), which ends today in Lagos. Adebayo, who is now more popular for producing the box office hit ‘King of Thieves’ was on the panel with filmmaker Kunle Afolayan and Abba Makama and he spoke about the potential of Nigeria indigenous movies making it to the global stage if well produced.

Adebayo’s invitation to speak on the panel may be unconnected with how his ‘King of Thieves’ produced in partnership with Anthill studios shattered the box office record early this year. The epic film based on a popular Yoruba folktale reportedly crossed the N250 million mark, an astounding figure for a non-English film in Nigerian box office.
