August Alsina Confesses He Still Loves Jada Pinkett Smith

The internet went abuzz over the word “entanglement” last week after Will Smith’s wife Jada Pinkett Smith admitted she indeed had a relationship with R&B singer August Alsina.
Alsina, 27, on Friday’s episode of Young Money radio with Lil Wayne, confessed that he still misses and loves the 48-year-old actress. Alsina and Lil Wayne discussed the “No Love” singer’s newly released album The Product III: stateofEMERGEncy, as well as his relationship with Jada Pinkett Smith.
When Lil Wayne asked Alsina if he still loves Jada, he gave a hearty laugh and replied, “Absolutely.”
“I feel like when you experience a certain type of experience on this planet and you experience a certain type of love, I will always have love for her as a person.”
Alsina also maintained his claim that Will Smith gave him his blessings to the relationship.
“As two men, we had a conversation and that’s what it was,” he said. “Everything I spoke on in my initial interview … is my truth.”
He also denied the allegations that he was using the couple for publicity and only chose to share his story during the promotional run for his album and documentary.
“… People may say, or it’s looking like, I’m doing something for attention—absolutely, absolutely. not. What’s perplexing to me, I never think it’s anybody’s business to know my personal business …. but when my personal business starts to affect my livelihood—I lost partnerships because it looked like I was pressing on someone’s wife.”

August Alsina agrees with Jada Pinkett’s use of the word “entanglement” to describe their relationship. In an interview with Vulture published on Friday, August, who said he hasn’t watched the full episode of the Red Table Talk show but had seen “small clips floating on Instagram”, said that their relationship was indeed “complex and difficult”.
“I don’t know why that word is such an issue. I would agree [with Jada]. If you look up the definition of “entanglement,” it is a complex and difficult relationship. It was exactly that,” Aslina told Vulture.
“I think it’s just the language that probably stuck out to people. But I definitely have to agree with it being an entanglement. It definitely was something complicated, a complicated dynamic.”
The dating rumours between August and Jada was revived and given momentum after the singer sat down with radio host Angela Yee on The Breakfast Show on 30th of June. Alsina told Angela that Will gave him his blessing to have a relationship with Jada.
Jada later admitted the relationship in an episode of the Red Table Talk but she and Smith denied the claims that August Alsina had Will Smith’s blessings.
