‘Baby Riddim’ star, Fave, bags law degree from OAU

The university celebrated its 48th convocation ceremony from December 12 to 14, awarding degrees to 7,368 graduates across 13 faculties.
Among them, 215 students earned first-class honors, while 2,197 and 2,691 students graduated with second-class upper and lower divisions, respectively.

Fave, 24, who has captivated fans with her unique voice and hit tracks, shared the joyous moment on Instagram. Clad in her convocation gown, she wrote, “LLB, long live Bigdutygyal. Congratulations to me and my coursemates. We really made it out alive.”
Fans and colleagues, including music stars Yemi Alade and Qing Madi, flooded her comment section with congratulatory messages, celebrating her for successfully balancing academics and a music career.
Fave burst onto the music scene in 2021 with her chart-topping single Baby Riddim, a song that dominated airwaves and carved out a space for her in the Nigerian music industry.
She followed up with her debut extended play (EP), Riddim, in 2022, showcasing her versatility and storytelling prowess.
