Skincare therapist and aesthetician who runs Nigerian top skincare brand situated in Abuja, Porthacourt and Lagos and known as Skin Therapy Beauty and Spa, Mimi Whyte-Femi has iterated that what she loves to do most, that actually give her joy and a sense of fulfilment is skincare and wellness.
Having being a victim of skin troubles in her adolescent years, the certified Aesthetician had a firsthand experience of what it takes to battle skincare issues and coming out of it with glowing skin charted the course of her life in the beauty industry where she had held sway for over a decade.
“My business Skin Therapy Beauty and Spa is my first baby … skincare and wellness to me is what I love to do,” she narrated her story in a recent interview
“My business started from me , myself and I as I use to struggle with acne at a point in my life and after trying everything in the books that didn’t work, I was able to research, and created a formula that worked for me and ever since then it’s been about creating different products to tackle and battle different skin issues from acne , to aging signs , to discolouration. Uneven skin tone, melessa , sun damage, etc as I have got different factories in different parts of the world.

“All of this didn’t happen overnight and there were definitely challenges experienced along the way but the determination is the key .. and with hardwork and God on my side .. I feel blessed to be here today, still striving , leading and breaking barriers in my field, and growing,” she asserted.
Speaking further, she harped on the importance of continually taking care of the skin, saying having beautiful skin as you get older means making smart choices throughout your life. Just as doing the right things now can help you down the road, bad skin care choices can have lifelong impacts as well.

The skin that is revealed in the future can be dull and full of imperfections unless you are utilizing a proper skin care routine.”
