The 2023 MTV Video Music Awards took place on September 12 at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. The show was full of star power, with performances by Shakira, Diddy, Nicki Minaj, and many more. But it was on the red carpet where some of the biggest fashion moments of the night took place.

Here are some of the best-dressed celebrities at the 2023 VMAs:
Taylor Swift wore a sleek, asymmetrical black Atelier Versace gown, studded with the brand’s iconic gold Medusa hardware.

Selena Gomez looked stunning in a hand-beaded scarlet gown by Oscar de la Renta. The dress featured a delicate floral tendrils skirt tailored from the waist down.

Nicki Minaj: The gown was a show-stopping pink number with a corset bodice and a sheer lace mermaid skirt that fanned out into a circular train. A matching see-through veil with lace trim completed the look.

Cardi B: Cardi B turned heads in a dress made entirely of silver hair clips. The dress was designed by Turkish-British designer Dilara Findikoglu. It was made from hundreds of silver hair clips that were stacked and arranged in swirling and fanning patterns. Cardi B also wore a pair of black arm cuffs that were also studded with hair clips. She completed the look with glittery heels and a metallic manicure.

Saweetie in Area: Saweetie went for a bold look in a metallic pink Area gown embellished with two large bones. Extra-long nails gave her Stone Age glam an edgy vibe.

Megan Thee Stallion turned heads in a Brandon Blackwood gown with a cutout bodice and thigh-high slit.
