Beyoncé is on the brink of joining the billionaire club, thanks to the phenomenal success of her recent Renaissance world tour. Forbes estimates that the singer’s net worth has surged by nearly $300 million this year, reaching an impressive $800 million.
The 42-year-old Queen Bey, who previously ranked 48th on Forbes’ list of richest self-made women in America with a worth of $540 million, experienced a significant boost in her finances due to the earnings from the 2023 Renaissance tour. The tour, which spanned from May to October, covered 39 cities in 17 countries, amassing a remarkable $579 million in revenue and becoming one of the highest-grossing tours in history.
Forbes attributes the rest of Beyoncé’s financial growth to adjustments in the valuation of her music catalog and art collection. The singer’s catalog is now estimated to be worth around $300 million. Additionally, Beyoncé shares personal assets with her husband, Jay-Z, and holds business stakes in her Parkwood Entertainment company, contributing to her overall net worth.
The power couple’s real estate portfolio, valued at approximately $320 million, includes a historic $200 million mansion in Malibu, California, purchased in June, considered the most expensive home in California’s history.
Beyoncé’s financial success also stems from her involvement in the Renaissance: A Film By Beyoncé, which she wrote, directed, and produced. The film, following the footsteps of Taylor Swift’s successful Eras Tour, saw a direct deal with AMC Theaters, earning over $27 million worldwide in its opening frame.
