The BBN Naija star began the year on a high note with his proposal to his US-based girlfriend. on Sunday, January 9, 2022, at a lounge 

Tochi who after getting down on one knee to propose to Chioma who thought she was merely going on a date with her boyfriend at an outdoor spot as a romantic jam by Chike “Running to You” was being played in the background. 

Tochi was the 11th housemate on the reality show. He took to Instagram to share to his 369k followers his joy and romantic proposal. He posted a video on the social media app revealing the moment. In the video, Chioma, who is currently in the country and is also a dancer, was visibly thrilled by Tochi’s proposal. After the groom to be slid the ring wife on Chioma’s fingers, Tochi began to rain money on his bride-to-be Chioma.

The reality show star wrote “@beautifulchii let’s go on this journey together! Ladies and Gentlemen, we have a wedding to plan.”
