On November 12, a judge ended Britney Spears’ 13-year conservatorship.

Taking to social media, the singer celebrated in a series of posts documenting her freedom. She also revealed that she had much more to share now that her conservatorship was over, hinting at a possible interview with Winfrey.

“I might as well do a hint of my thoughts on the gram before I go and set things square on @Oprah !!!!! I mean who knows … I do know how embarrassing is to share the fact I’ve never seen cash or wasn’t able to drive my car …. but honestly it still blows my mind every day I wake up how my family and the conservatorship were able to do what they did to me !!!!” Spears wrote. “I’m used to keeping peace for the family and keeping my mouth shut … but not this time … I have NOT FORGOTTEN.”

However, a source close to the singer told CNN that Britney Spears had no immediate plans for an interview with Oprah Winfrey despite hinting on social media that she’d like to.

“Britney has not done an interview with Oprah, and she isn’t even in discussions to do one yet,” the source said. “Will it happen? Maybe, but not right now.”

The source also noted that a meeting between the two might not take place until 2022.

As for whether the two might meet this year, the source said an interview, if it does happen, probably wouldn’t take place until 2022.

Spears was first placed under conservatorship in 2008 with her father, Jamie Spears, overseeing.

In September, Jamie Spears was suspended as conservator of the pop star’s estate, with Rosengart having since launched a full-scale investigation into the alleged conservatorship abuse.

The next hearing is set for January 19 to address pending accounting and other lingering issues.
