Popular Nigerian gospel singer Buchi Atuonwu has denied rumours of his death that have been circulating on social media.
In a telephone interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Enugu on Wednesday, Buchi said that he is “sound in spirit, body, and soul” and urged the public to disregard the rumours. “It is unfortunate that desperation has driven many to all manner of mischief. Thank you all for your care and concern,” he said.
Buchi is a well-known and respected figure in the Nigerian gospel music industry. He is a Nigerian singer-songwriter, author, poet, spoken word artist, and reggae gospel artist who is loved by millions around the world.
