Xavier Novell and Silvia Caballol

Wonders
A Spanish bishop and exorcist has stepped down to start a new life after falling in love with a divorced author of satanic-themed eroticas. Xavier Novell, 52, announced last month that he was resigning from his post as Bishop of Solsona in Catalonia for “strictly personal reasons”.

This week, it was revealed by Religion Digital, a news site, that Novell had fallen for Silvia Caballol, a divorced mother-of-two. Novell reportedly said he had “fallen in love” and “wanted to do the right thing.” Caballol is a writer of erotic novels featuring characters ‘possessed by the demon of lust’, a fact which has raised eyebrows among Novell’s former colleagues.

Freedom
Britney Spears’ father, James “Jamie” Spears, has finally filed a petition to end his daughter’s conservatorship, which he has controlled at least in part for the last 13 years.

In his document, he wrote that “If Ms Spears wants to terminate the conservatorship and believes that she can handle her own life, Mr Spears believes that she should get that chance.” Recall that for years, Britney has taken her father to court because she “wants control of her life back,” (including the ability to make her own decisions about medical care, therapy, her finances, and whether to get married and have a baby- all of which her father decided before 2019).

It’s a boy!
Cardi B and her husband, Offset, have welcomed their second child together. Cardi B shared the news with an Instagram picture of her and Offset cradling their newborn in the hospital, while under a Louis Vuitton blanket.

“We are so overjoyed to finally meet our son,” Cardi and Offset said in a statement. “He is already loved so much by family and friends and we can’t wait to introduce him to his other siblings.”

Cardi and Offset are already parents to 3-year-old daughter Kulture. Offset is also dad to daughter Kalea, 6, and sons Kody, 6, and Jordan, 11, from previous relationships. Congratulations!

More baby news
Still on baby’s announcements, reality TV star, Kylie Jenner has announced her second pregnancy with Travis Scott. The young business mogul made the announcement in a post via her Instagram account. Showing off her baby bump in a video she posted, Kylie revealed that she and rapper Travis Scott will be welcoming another child soon.

The announcement came as a surprise to everyone as this comes after TMZ reported that the couple took a break from their relationship of two years. However, Travis had dedicated a heart-warming post to Kylie on his Instagram Story for her 24th birthday last month. Congratulations to the family.

2Face Idiba

Peace, we ask!
2Face Idibia has appealed to the public and his families to sheath their swords in his first statement over the crisis rocking his marriage. This is following accusations of infidelity by his wife, Annie Idibia, who subsequently had a heated exchange on social media with 2Face’s younger brother, Charles Idibia.

2Face also known as 2Baba, in his first statement, said he will not fold his hands and watch everyone have a free for all” over issues affecting his family. He also asked that the public allow him “deal with our issues internally.”
