Veteran Nigerian singer-songwriter Charly Boy has scolded Nigerian youths for engaging more with the Big Brother Naija reality show than matters of national importance.

“I no Understand Naija Youths. Una shame dey shame Me,” Charly Boy lamented in the caption.

He further went on to compare the total number of votes cast during the Big Brother Naija 2019 edition with the total number of votes cast in the 2019 General election.
“— Total number of votes cast Big Brother Nigeria 2019 = 170 million. — Total number of votes cast General election 2019 = 27 million.”
In conclusion, Charly Boy said, “A practical reality of who we are as people and where our priority lies as citizens. The funny side in all of these is that we still go to bed, have a good sleep and wake up with the hope to meet a Nigeria we didn’t create. Mumu Nigerians! Mumu Nigerians!! Mumu Nigerians!!!”
