Chris Pine Addresses Claims Of Harry Styles Spitting On Him

Chris Pine has brought the #SpitGate controversy between himself and Harry Styles to an end.

Rumors that Styles has spit on Pine during the premier of their film “Don’t Worry Darling” hit the media on Tuesday. As social media users took to critically analyzing Styles actions as he took his sit by Pine in a now viral video.

However, Pine’s reps described these rumors as a “complete fabrication” in a no released statement.

The rep speaking to People Magazine said “ This is a ridiculous story — a complete fabrication and the result of an odd online illusion that is clearly deceiving and allows for foolish speculation.”

“Just to be clear, Harry Styles did not spit on Chris Pine. There is nothing but respect between these two men and any suggestion otherwise is a blatant attempt to create drama that simply does not exist.”

Styles’ reps are however yet to address the controversy.

The allegations first arose on Monday as Styles’ sat at the Venice International Film Festival and proceeded to allegedly spit in the “Wonder Woman” star’s lap.

The incident also follows rumors of strife between the the film’s star Florence Pugh and Styles’ director-lover Olivia Wilde.
