American rapper DaBaby has had his Sin City Battery charges dismissed.

The rapper’s misdemeanour battery charges were dismissed with prejudice on Monday, according to online court records.

Speaking to TMZ, the Clark County District Attorney’s Office revealed that the charges had been dismissed after DaBaby satisfied everything prosecutors asked him to do to resolve the case, including paying the alleged victim $7,500 and staying out of trouble.

29-year-old DaBaby, real name Jonathan Kirk, was accused of attacking a driver in Las Vegas in November last year.

Breaking the story which the rapper’s lawyers had described as an “attempted money grab,” TMZ reported that a driver in Las Vegas came forward with allegations against DaBaby back in February.

DaBaby and his group got into the drivers Mercedes sprinter in November; the group were cautioned against smoking by the driver when they lit a joint.

The driver alleges that it was then that he was threatened, and on getting to their destination and requesting payment, DaBaby punched him at the back of his head and retorted, “you ain’t the boss”.

Investigations by law enforcers claimed that one of the suspects said, “you’re lucky you ain’t in my city because I would have killed you cracker motherf*****.”

This is one of the many run-ins with the law that the rapper has had and has successfully come out unscathed once again in his usual habit.
