Nigerian English American actor David Oyelowo and his Jessica celebrate their 21st wedding anniversary.

The filmmaker, who has quickly become one of Hollywood’s most sought-after talents, took to his Instagram page on Thursday to appreciate his sweetheart for the years of “blissful” marriage.

“To my “till death do us part” @jessicaoyelowo. Thank you for 21 years of blissful marriage and for loving me even when as a teenager I thought wearing bandannas was the definition of cool. ❤️”

In her response, Jessica, who seemed clearly elated, expressed her undying love to her husband.

“DAVID!!!! 🤩😍🥰🤯💃🏻🥳🤪🤓😇😜😊 all the ways you still make me feel. Happy 21st-anniversary baby. I love you forever. And ever. And ever 🤯 Swipe for a fun vid 😉”

The lovebirds tied the know in September 1998. The union has been blessed with four children.

The ‘Gringo’ actor is famed for his role as an MI5 officer on the British drama series ‘Spooks’ and Martin Luther King Jr. in the 2014 biographical drama film ‘Selma’.

His highest-profile role to date was as Martin Luther King Jr. in the 2014 biographical drama film Selma. He also took the lead role in A United Kingdom (2016) as well as playing the role of a chess coach in Queen of Katwe (2016).
Oyelowo was appointed Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) in the 2016 New Year Honours for services to drama. Oyelowo and his wife became naturalized US citizens on July 20, 2016.
