Davido, Pinnick settle dispute, steal show at Warri again
Nigerian Afrobeats star, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has finally put an end to his feud with businessman and former Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) boss, Amaju Pinnick.
The 31-year-old singer was the headliner at this year’s Warri Again comedy and music show, marking a surprising turnaround from their highly publicised clash in 2023.
Back then, Davido and Pinnick had locked horns when the singer couldn’t perform at the show, leading to Pinnick filing a N2 billion lawsuit. Pinnick accused Davido of breaching their contract after he allegedly failed to perform at the event in Warri, Delta State.

Things got even messier when the disagreement spilled over to social media, with Davido slamming Pinnick for using his image to promote the show, despite knowing he wouldn’t be available.
The two eventually decided to resolve their differences out of court. It seems the air has been cleared between them, as Davido not only headlined the 2024 edition of Warri Again but had also earlier invited Pinnick and his wife to his much-talked-about wedding.
The show, held on October 9, 2024, was packed with laughter and music, as top comedians like De Stalker, who hosted the event, kept the crowd entertained. Music stars Oritsefemi, Odumodublvck, Fave, Shallipopi, and Phyno also lit up the stage with their hit songs.
To wrap up the night, Davido performed his Grammy-nominated hit ‘Unavailable’ from his record-breaking fourth album Timeless.
