Drake Blames Covid-19 Infection For His Lingering Hair Loss
Drake has opened up about having Covid-19, revealing that he has lingering hair loss as a side effect.
The Canadian singer-rapper replied to a fan account on Instagram who posted a photo of Drake in the studio with a faded hairline, the heart shape only half visible.
“That heart is stressed,” the user captioned the post.
“I had Covid that sh*t grew in weird I had to start again,” Drake commented on the post. “It’s coming back don’t diss.”

It is unclear if Drake’s COVID-19 diagnosis is responsible for the rapper’s delay in releasing Certified Lover Boy, the long-awaited album he’s been teasing for months.
Back in January, Drake said it would still be coming in 2021, despite having to push it back after an injury left his leg in a brace.
“I was planning to release my album this month, but between surgery and rehab, my energy has been dedicated to recovery,” Drake wrote. “I’m blessed to be back on my feet, feeling great and focused on the album, but CLB won’t be dropping in January. I’m looking forward to sharing it with you all in 2021.”
In late July, Drake stopped by Sound 42’s Fri Yiy Friyay radio show for the latest update. “Album’s ready… album’s cooked, looking forward to delivering it to you,” the rapper told the show’s hosts. “‘Certified Lover Boy’ on the way and that’s for anyone in the way.”
