Elon Musk’s Mum Shares A Pronounceable Name For X Æ A-12
Elon Musk’s baby has a name that appears impossible to pronounce, but the Tesla CEO’s mum has shared a name that would be easier for people to pronounce.
Maye Musk took to Twitter on Sunday night to break her silence on her new grandchild’s birth when she shared the baby boy’s nickname.
Elon, 48, and his partner Grimes, 32, welcomed their baby on May 4 and almost broke the internet when he revealed the name of the baby as X Æ A-12.
But sharing a picture of Elon looking lovingly at his new arrival, Maye referred to the little one as ‘X’ in the sweet post.
In her tweet, she wrote:
X, welcome to this world. You are so adorable. Congrats @elonmusk and @Grimezsz who will celebrate her first #MothersDay tomorrow. #ProudGrandma #GrandmaOf12 Love this photo by @christianamusk #AWomanMakesAPlan #ItsGreatToBe72.
Elon replied to the tweet, writing: “Love you, mom.”
This comes after Grimes revealed how the name X Æ A-12 should be pronounced after being questioned by fans.
Taking to Instagram, she wrote: “It’s just X, like the letter X. Then A.I. Like how you said the letter A then I.”
However, Elon Musk says otherwise. In a podcast with Joe Rogan, he said:
I mean it’s just X, the letter X, and the ‘Æ’ is pronounced, ‘Ash’, A-12 meant “Archangel 12, the precursor to the SR-71, coolest plane ever.
This leaves the people more confused. With Maye’s nickname, it is all better.
