The Empawa Records heavyweight serves up a vibrant tropical vibe with the Mahine Sef-directed visuals.
The energetic Afro-fusion rhythm is a love anthem that creatively explores the peculiarities of romantic relationships within Nigeria, hence the area code. Minz is seen in the video confronting an unfaithful, former lover.
Minz rose from the bustling Surulere suburbs of Lagos where he honed his versatile Afro-fusion sounds that give off tropical vibes. He began his music sojourn after leaving secondary school, assembling his friends to create music, especially rap. After bagging a first degree in International Law and Diplomacy the young artiste decided to pursue a career in music, especially as his earlier releases, Talk, Odoyewu, Gyal, among others, began to edge him closer to the spotlight.
