Software Engineer Olugbenga Agboola wins the Man Of The Year Technology at the 8th EMY Africa Awards in Ghana.

Olugbenga Agboola in a video message expressed to be honoured by the organisers and thanked them for their recognition of his works.

The prestigious event was hosted by Nigeria’s Nancy Isime and Ghanaian media personality Nathaniel Attoh.

In attendance at the event were Nigeria’s entertainers Bimbo Ademoye, Richard Mofe Damijo, Cobhams Asuquo, Chidi Mokeme and Tobi Bakre, who were nominated for the EMY’s Actors of the Year category.

The 8th edition spanned categories such as Man of the Year, Humanitarian Award, Young Achiever Award, Lifetime Achievement Award, Diaspora Award, Continental Icon Award, Technology Award, Woman of the Year, The Guardian Award, Health Award, Agriculture Award, Man of the Year Music, Discovery of the Year, Actor of the Year, and Designer of the Year.

Alongside Olugbenga Agboola, other Nigerians honoured at the event include Dele Momodu (Foremost Cultural Ambassador Between Nigeria And Ghana); Cobhams Asuquo (Man Of Courage).
