Award winning DJ Obi, one of Nigeria’s notable DJ’s has announced his attempt to break the Guinness World Record for Longest DJ Set. This set begins today June 22nd and runs through till July 1st, 2016. In his career time, he has worked on stage with the likes of Lupe Fiasco, 2baba, Lynxxx, Banky W, M.I., Naeto C and a couple others.
The current record for Longest DJ Set was on November 19, 2014 in Dublin, Ireland and it ran for 200 hours. Starting today, DJ Obi attempts to make history with a continuous 240 hour set at Sao Café located in Lekki Phase One.

Speaking on his record-breaking attempt DJ Obi says,
“This is a dream that we’ve been working on for over eight months. It means a lot to me and there’s no better way to show the world that Nigerian DJs are a force. I’m excited the day to finally get started is here. Lagos, I need your love and support so please come through to Sao Café. And all my Nigerian’s please hit me up on social media. Let’s go!”
