Every event this time of the year is highly anticipated, and on the list of anticipated events is The Unofficial Christmas Party. As the name implies, this annual event brings together corporate executives from across a range of industries to celebrate the end of the year and reward employees with a high production Christmas party.  The annual third edition of The Unofficial Christmas Party would be happening on the 16^th of December with a star-studded line-up at the Landmark Centre Lagos.

The Urban Dictionary describes Owambe as a large, grandiose party thrown by Nigerians anywhere in the world, especially Yoruba Nigerians that involves a lot of food, dancing, loud music and spraying. Suffice to say, you are in for the time of your life as the theme of the event this year is Owambe and will feature performances from headliners like Adekunle Gold, Bez, Brenda (The Voice Nigeria) and the king of afro juju – Sir Shina Peters. The night will be hosted by IK Osakioduwa and DJ Obi will take over on the decks at the after party.

Lead Producer Funmi Victor Okigbo said: “The Unofficial Christmas Party gets bigger and better each year; we are focused on providing our guests – both old and new – with a unique Christmas experience each year. For 2016, we are flipping the script, with the theme and a big emphasis on fun.”  she added.

 

Guests will experience the real meaning of Owambe with food from Kots Catering, Drinks by Diageo and Bollinger and they will be provided with bespoke aso-ebi fabric from Nakenohs. In true TUCP style, there will be awards, competitions, laughter, fun, and lots of dancing! Christmas Parties don’t get better than this!
