Abuja played host to a remarkable celebration of luxury as Abiodun-Fetuga Ajidahun hosted a select audience on the 16th of November. Guests were welcomed to an intimate gathering to witness the debut of the Glenfiddich 31-year-old Grand Chateau amongst a niche crowd of luxury curators, enthusiasts, and friends, in the city of Abuja, Nigeria at the prestigious Kare Abuja, on 45 Kumasi Crescent, Wuse.

In her capacity as the CEO of Noire Luxury—a brand renowned for top-quality luxury furniture, decor, art, niche luxury fragrances, lifestyle, and seasonal gifts—Abiodun Ajidahun surely has an eye for sourcing rare collectables, niche luxury fragrances, and designing elegant spaces that speak of grandeur and opulence.

More than a dinner, the evening was an opportunity for whisky enthusiasts to experience the Grand Chateau as a pinnacle of rarity and sophistication. Part of Glenfiddich’s celebrated Grand Series, featuring 21, 23, 26, and 29-year-old expressions, the 31-year-old Grand Chateau embodies the artistry of whisky-making. Guests indulged in a culinary symphony, with highlights such as smoked octopus salad, marrow crumb, and berry mousse infused with mint oil, curated by Afolens, perfectly complementing the exquisite whisky.

This debut signalled a new era of refined luxury for whisky connoisseurs in Nigeria. The Glenfiddich 31-year-old Grand Chateau stands as an embodiment of elegance and exclusivity, redefining the standards of whisky craftsmanship.
