The Nigerian Marketing Awards (NMA) has unveiled members of its 2025 Awards Decision Council (ADC), a body tasked with ensuring transparency, integrity, and excellence in the awards process.
The council, made up of top marketing professionals from brands, agencies, media, public relations, experiential marketing, and regulatory bodies, will be chaired by Iquo Ukoh, CEO of Entod Marketing Ltd.
The NMA also secured representation from the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), with Tokunboh George-Taylor joining the council. This brings to six the number of professional bodies represented, alongside the Advertising Regulatory Council of Nigeria (ARCON), National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria (NIMN), Association of Advertising Agencies of Nigeria (AAAN), Experiential Marketers Association of Nigeria (EXMAN), and the Out-of-Home Advertising Association of Nigeria (OAAN).
Founder of the Awards, Tony Agenmonmen, described the unveiling of the ADC and NIPR’s participation as a milestone in NMA’s mission to build the most credible marketing award platform in the country.
“With the active participation of all the leading professional bodies in our ecosystem, the Nigerian Marketing Awards® stands as the most inclusive and credible platform to celebrate marketing excellence,” Agenmonmen said.
He noted that the awards secured the endorsement of the UK-based Independent Awards Standards Council (IASC) to align with global best practices, ensuring fairness and transparency at all stages.
