Hennessy, Nigeria’s luxury cognac, will hold its highly-anticipated Hennessy Artistry concert today at the Eko Atlantic City, Lagos. The invite-only concert, which will be its eighth edition, promises a unique blend of “youth, flair and top-notch entertainment”.

Hennessy Artistry, well known and appreciated by music lovers for its “benchmark music platform”, is a global platform that has gained recognition for its quality musical delivery by bringing the “art of blending” to life through its fusion of art, music and creative talent. Hennessy has consistently delivered musical moments such as the Artistry Cyphers, VS Class Competition and the Artistry Finale Concert.

Hennessy Artistry is an offshoot of the “Henny” culture: a culture which has established a trademark in promoting friendships and defining class, identifying with people on different levels.

Henny”, as it is fondly called, has featured in movies as an iconic power cognac and has been mentioned in over 1000 songs including legendary artists such as East Coast rapper, Notorious BIG, NAS and Drake. King of the West Coast, Tupac Shakur has a song dedicated to the cognac. The brand has gained credibility such that it has etched a saying in the popular culture: Do it for the Henny culture. Over 250 years later, it has become the favourite of millennials.

In the Henny-culture spirit, today’s concert will be headlined by some of Nigeria’s finest: versatile rapper and songwriter, Falz; King of Afro-Dancehall, Timaya; Voice of the Streets, Olamide and New school rapper, Ycee alongside other great artists.

Hennessy and Spirit Brand Manager Mr Oluwole Awoleke has said,

“This year, we intend to exceed all expectations; delivering the most unforgettable experience for consumers and lovers of the brand.”

The show’s red carpet will kick off by 7 PM tonight.
