Popular and Award winning Nigerian actress Bimbo Ademoye, recently revealed that numerous film producers had sought to exploit her physically, but she firmly refused such offers.

Ademoye further shared that many actresses encounter challenges upon entering the industry; however, she had a positive start to her career.

She credited Uduak Isong, a senior colleague, for helping her establish herself in the Nigerian film industry by offering guidance and support.

The actress candidly admitted that she never engaged in any sexual relationships with producers in order to secure roles.

Ademoye advised aspiring young ladies who wish to join Nollywood to prioritize self-care and ensure they never compromise their values by exchanging sexual favors for opportunities.

She elaborated, “To be completely honest, everyone wanted to exploit my physical appearance.

They wanted me to portray the seductive secretary, the woman who stole someone’s husband, or the one who snatched another person’s boyfriend. Fortunately, I can say that I have been incredibly fortunate.”

“I entered the industry with the help of Uduak Isong. I never encountered the challenges of trading sexual favors with producers for roles, and I have never engaged in such activities.

She acted as more of a mother figure to me during my early days,” Ademoye explained.
