Fashions Finest Africa Introduces ‘The Most Prestigious Fashion Awards’ In Africa

Fashions Finest Africa is set to take the Nigerian Fashion scene by storm by hosting the “first and most prestigious fashion awards in Nigeria”. Fashions Finest Africa Awards Awards 2018 is set to take place at The Balmoral, Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos from the 25th May to 27th of May, 2018.

The objective of the Award is to celebrate those who have made an impact within the fashion industry.Fashions Finest Africa intends to change the way fashion creatives who have done amazingly well but go unrecognised and underappreciated are viewed.

A total of 22 categories will cover the whole spectrum of the fashion industry. The winners of most of the awards would be decided upon by a panel of industry judges. The categories include:

1. Designer of the year
2. Emerging designer of the year
3. Men’s wear designer of the year
4. Women’s wear designer of the year
5. Young Designer of the year
6. Makeup Artist of the year
7. Stylist of the year
8. Male model of the year
9. Female model of the year
10. Fashion show of the year
11. Outstanding contribution to Nigerian Fashion award
12. Accessories designer of the year
13. Fashion Retail Store of the year
14. Fashion Icon of the year
15. Creative of the year
16. Shoe designer of the year
17. Bag designer of the year
18. Fashion photographer of the year
19. Fashion Magazine of the year
20. Indigenous fabric maker of the year
21. Fashion blogger of the year
22. Fashion influencer of the year

However, there will be five categories that would be open to public voting and these are: Male model of the year, Female model of the year, Fashion Icon of the year, Fashion blogger of the year and Fashion influencer of the year.
