In a recent Tiktok interview with Mohbad’s father, Mr. Aloba, he noted his resentment that his son, Mohbad, got properties in Liam’s name:
“Me as his father, I never bought any property in Mohbad’s name. I don’t know why the reason that he bought property in Liam’s name.”
From the discussion, Mohbad’s father stated that the son notified him of a hectare of landed property in Elepe, Ikorodu, Lagos state, which the singer had intended to use it for farming, along with other two plots in Agbowa.
This update happened after Mohbad’s wife, Omowunmi, told a news firm in an interview that her father in-law, wanted to control the property of the late singer.

This sentiment underscores a broader dispute between Mohbad’s paternal family and his widow’s relatives regarding the late singer’s assets. Mr. Aloba has also highlighted that many of Mohbad’s property documents are currently held by his mother-in-law, further complicating the situation.
However, on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, the court ruled that Naira Marley and his associate, Sam Larry, had no case to answer over the uneventful passing of the late singer, Mohbad.
The court, however, noted that the nurse, Ayobami Sadiq, who administered the injection that led to Mohbad’s passing will face prosecution for reckless act.
Mohbad’s father also noted that he had never seen the nurse physically, although he had heard of the nurse online. This also came after Omowunmi alleged that the late singer’s father obstructed the nurse from being arrested.
