Media personality and actress, Toke Makinwa, has said she is open to being in a polygamous marriage if the right situation presents itself.

She made this known on the latest episode of her podcast, Toke Moments, which aired earlier this week.

According to her, “In all honesty, at this point in my life, if I have the opportunity to be the second, third, fourth, or fifth wife, I will take it.”

The 40-year-old, who is known for her outspoken views on relationships, explained that despite her love for independence, the pressure of constantly being in control has started to feel overwhelming.

“I am the boss everywhere and that could be tiring,” she said.

She added that she sometimes wishes to lean on someone else for simple decisions.

“You feel like you need someone to lean on. Someone that could decide what is for dinner. Must it be me?”

Makinwa was once married to fitness coach Maje Ayida. Their marriage, which began in 2014, ended in 2017 after reports surfaced about infidelity and a child outside the union.
