YBNL signee Fireboy has unveiled August 5th as the release date for his third studio album, “Playboy.”

The “Peru” singer unveiled the album’s cover, release date, and pre-save link in a tweet on Wednesday.

Fireboy tweeted, “my third studio album, “playboy” – out on the 5th of August. available for pre-save now.”

“Playboy” follows Fireboy’s 2020 album “Apollo” and his 2019 debut album “Laughter, Tears, and Goosebumps.”

The new album includes “Peru” and its hit remix featuring Ed-Sheeran alongside his now-viral “Playboy” single, which shares the same name as the album.

It also includes “Bandana” featuring label mate Asake, which will be released on Friday, 8th June.

Last month, Fireboy made history as the first afrobeats performer at the 2022 BET Awards with a live rendition of “Playboy.”

In February, the singer reached 300million+ streams on Audiomack and was presented with a plaque for this feat.

His debut album Laughter, Tears, and Goosebumps, ramped up 153 million streams, and his sophomore album Apollo also gathered 154 million plays on Audiomack. The rest of the streams were generated by his singles.
