As the December 13, 2024 premiere date approaches, here are five stars to look out for in this highly anticipated project.

1. Chioma Akpotha

2. Muyiwa Ademola

Femi, widely celebrated for his stellar performance and production of Netflix’s Yoruba Original Jagun Jagun, seems poised to deliver another blockbuster.

Jagun Jagun had a run, bagging awards at the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA) and the Africa Movie Academy Awards (AMAA), cementing Femi’s place as one of Nollywood’s top creatives.

Taking to Instagram, the seasoned actor, also known as Jelili in the comedy world, shared an emotional post alongside the trailer of Seven Doors. He wrote, “Today, the 5th door opened. A full view of the laughter, the tears, the uncertainties, the conniving, the vengeance, the twists that come together to make a tale like no other. A tale of kingship, kinship, family, love, betrayal, and restitution. This is SEVEN DOORS! A limited series project which blood, sweat, and complete dedication was put in to make it work. The entire crew, cast, and I were committed from the start to making this project as authentic and compelling as possible. Mark your calendars! December 13 Seven Doors. Only on Netflix.”

The series, steeped in Nigerian history, is set in the 18th and 19th centuries. It delves into themes of love, power, and tradition, presenting a rich cultural tapestry that reflects the diversity of Nigeria.

The plot centres on a Yoruba king whose marriage to an Igbo queen represents unity and harmony. However, the arrival of a Hausa investor with bold plans throws the kingdom into chaos, challenging age-old traditions and sparking a fierce cultural battle.
