This May, Enjoy Hard Rock Cafe’s Taste of Mexico Menu

This May, Hard Rock Cafe has spiced things up for its latest menu innovation to offer a fiesta of fiery food! The international brand is paying homage to classic Mexican cuisine and cocktails with its signature flair for the new Taste of Mexico menu. The limited-time menu is now available at participating Hard Rock Cafe franchise locations across North, Central and South America, as well as Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia.

What’s The Taste of Mexico Menu About?

Hard Rock has developed a variety of new food and beverage options, all of which are mexican-oriented. These new options are available for a limited time at each cafe. The menu includes tacos, quesadillas and vegetarian dishes, all of which incorporate traditional Mexican-inspired flavors. The new menu offerings will also be paired with the Mezcal Cocktail Tour, a selection of adult drinks made with Mezcal from Mexico and served with a Hard Rock twist in one-of-a-kind vessels.

What To Expect From The Taste of Mexico Menu at The Hard Rock Cafe, Lagos –

Grilled Shrimp with Mexican Street Corn Salad

Mixed lettuce with blacj beans, pico de gallo, avocado, jalapenos, roasted corn, tossed with a smoky chilli orange vinaigrette drizzle, and topped with achiote grilled Shrimp

Vegetarian Tacos

Chipotle Potato, quinoa, pico de gallo and queso served with tomatillo salsa and sour cream

Chicken Tinga Tacos

Shredded chipotle chicken, tomatillo salsa, queso, avocado, picante sauce and silantro

Pan Roasted Shrimp with Tequila

Grilled achiote chipotle spiced shrimp in a roasted tomato broth with chopped cilantro and tequila; served with Mexican rice

Albuquerque – Vegetarian Burrito

Flour tortilla with smoked chipotle ranch, topped with shredded lettuce, crispy potato pos, southwest refried beans, sweet chilli, mexican rice, mixed cheese, and roasted vegetables; served with spiced fries and tangy salsa

Bahama Mama – Chicken Burrito

Flour tortilla laced with roasted chipotle ranch, smokey ragout of corn, fresh dill and smokey baked beans, mexican rice, seasoned crunchy chicken tenders, shredded lettuce, mixed cheese, and jalapenos; served with spiced fries and tangy salsa

To say this meal was completely enjoyable would be an understatement. Everything was made fresh, and served beautifully. At first there was some uncertainty in trying the food, but all that washed away after I had a few bites of it. Yes, I tried everything on the table and liked it. The best part was how filling all of it was, as I didn’t really expect it to be so. I got so full, I almost couldn’t find room for the dessert (Sizzling Brownie, pictured below) until I smelled it being brought to the table and knew I had to have it.

Of course, the Taste of Mexico menu wouldn’t be complete without the Mezcal Cocktail Tour. Tthe “tour” consists of alcoholic drinks created with Mezcal, an agave-based distillate made through an ancient process over 500 years old. Featuring in this tour are Diablo, Troublemaker, and Amigo (pictured L – R below)
