Gospel artist, Fred Hammond, states in a video by TMZ that Kanye West’s support for Trump is not an issue for him as a Christian.

The popular gospel singer was featured on West’s “Jesus is King”s album and says they never had a reason to discuss politics.

Hammond says he made the decision to work with West on the track titled “Hands On” right when he approached him at Chance The Rapper’s wedding. The important thing according to Hammond is that West is praising God on his new album, and that’s all that matters at the end of the day, politics can be ignored.
Last year, the gospel artist was also featured by Snoop Dog, a Trump critic in the album Bible of Love. 

Fred Hammond makes it clear as always that political beliefs should be put aside when the need arises, especially in the studio.
