Popular Nigerian actress, Funke Akindele, and also PDP deputy Governor aspirant has reacted to the recently concluded elections in Lagos state.

She reacted to the election on her social media handle, precisely twitter that, “I’m glad that we could at least speak up. Thank you once again, Lagos, for showing your daughter support. As I consider my next moves in life, I will continue prioritizing the good of the people and the integrity of my position as an advocate for the people.
Eko oni baje!”

This came a few hours ago as opposed to the rumor of quitting politics by some fans in Nigeria.

Funke Akindele with Adediran AbdulAzeez (Jandor) The PDP governorship candidate polled a total number of 62,449 votes, to come a distant third in the election.

While she believes it is not over, Akindele said, “I also want to encourage all who mean well for the Nation and the state of Lagos not to give up. I understand that some of us are beginning to develop some sort of apathy towards the system, however, if we do not speak, we would never be heard”.
