For some time, the memory of the event will continue to linger, considering the glamour, festivity and experiences of attendees during the carnival-like celebration.

Eminent men of God, including the Presiding Bishop, Rhema Christian Church and Towers, Dr. Taiwo Akinola; Bishop Olaoluwa Oluwadayo; Bishop Abiodun Akinteye; and Bishop Peter Oloye among others, who came to rejoice with one of their own, pour endless accolades on the man described as an epitome of humility.

In his message, Bishop Akinola admonished all Nigerians to prepare for eternity. “A lot of people die untimely because they live despicably and don’t understand that life has no spare. People see life from different angles that is why they handle life differently.

“Some see life as a battle, some see life as competition, some see it as a restaurant, some see it as a big market, some see it as an amusement park (fun) and some see it as nothing, but those who read the bible see life as a gift, a privilege and a favour. Life is a journey; you have only one life to live.”

Bishop Akinola said the celebrant (Akinsola) lives his life with focus and humility. “Life is a journey and we have only one opportunity to make an impact. We must reflect on life regularly, whether you like it or not, you are older today than you were yesterday. That is how age comes to us like a thief in the night.

“You need to spend your life wisely by taking service to God as your priority. No man can wrestle with age, age is a heavy weight champion, the only one who has power over age is God. I urge everybody to serve God fervently.”

The celebrant, Akinsola, appreciated God for sustenance and grace to attain the age, which describes as a milestone, irrespective of the travails of his sojourn.

Despite the current hardship in the country, Akinsola expressed optimism that Nigeria will be great again, said: “All we are asking for is a better Nigeria. Nigerians should not lose hope; they should put their trust in God for the country to overcome its present predicaments.”
