Gospel singer Dele Gold dies after brief illness
A Nigerian gospel singer, Dele Agbeyo, known as Dele Gold, has passed away after a brief illness.
His colleagues and fans have taken to social media to express their shock and grief.
Alayo Melody, a fellow gospel singer, shared the news on Wednesday, writing, ” Dele Gold Kee??? Ahh, this is getting too much ooo!!! May God help us stop untimely death. Dele Agbeyo May your soul rest in peace.”

Wonder Doyin Kujore also paid tribute on Instagram, saying, “Nothing is in this world, let us live today and leave tomorrow for God. I find it difficult to post people that died prematurely because it saddened my heart but I just have to pay my last respect here. Hmm This life is full of vanity. Rest on Dele Agbotikuyo Dele Gold.”
Dele Gold, a native of Usi, Ekiti State, was raised in Faforiji, Osun State.
