Nigerian Afrobeat singer Wizkid has admitted that life has been meaningless, since losing his mum, which has been the cause of his struggles.
The Afrobeats sensation, who experienced the heartbreaking loss on August 18, 2023, revealed that life has felt meaningless in the aftermath.
Wizkid, known for his chart-topping hits, has noticeably struggled to be himself since the passing of his mother.
During her burial, emotions ran deep as the artist was visibly moved to tears, witnessing his mother being laid to rest.
Taking to his social media, he shared, “Made idk days after I lost my mum. Life’s been meaningless! But we dey. Sometimes you got to let everything go… Work with God.”
This is rue first time the afrobeat star would be sharing his personal issues on the public domain.
He recently showed some act of kindness after donating sums of money within the range of #100M to children in Surulere axis where he grew up and made a name for himself.
