You can enjoy your eggs in many different ways, and an omelette is just one of them. 

All you need is the perfect recipe, a flip of the wrist, and you can enjoy the perfect omelette. 

Ingredients 

  • Eggs 
  • Butter 
  • Salt 
  • cheese
  • tomatoes 
  • Basil or parsley 

Method

  1. Start by beating your eggs lightly with a fork and add a little salt to taste. 
  2. Melt butter over medium-low heat, making sure to keep the temperature low and slow not to burn the eggs.
  3. Add the eggs and allow to cook without stirring. Use a silicone spatula to push the edges toward the centre of the pan and tilt the pan, so the uncooked eggs move to the edge.
  4. Place cheese, tomatoes, and herbs in a line down the centre of the omelette and cook for about 1 minute long.
  5. Fold the omelette in half carefully and use the spatula to loosen the omelette from the pan. 
  6. Tilt it slightly from the pan over the plate, sprinkle some basil leaves and serve.
