The 21-year-old sensation revealed that he isn’t in the music industry just for the money. He mentioned that even before his record label discovered him, he was financially stable.

Rema shared, “I want people to know that I’m not all about the money. Even when I was doing freestyles and sharing them on social media, I didn’t do it because I needed money. I was already financially comfortable at that time.”

He continued, saying that if his music career didn’t take off, he would still be out there hustling to make a living. Rema expressed, “If music didn’t work out for me, I would still be grinding and making money. You understand? Even back when I was doing those freestyles, I didn’t do it out of necessity. I had the funds I needed. I was doing just fine.”

So, it’s clear that for Rema, music is more than just a means of financial gain. It’s a passion and a creative outlet, even though he was financially secure from the start.
