“I know nothing about how the musician died” SamLarry’s Statement On Mohbad’s Death

Following the series of inquiries over the death of Nigerian musician Mohbad, SamLarry whose name has since popped up has alleged “I know nothing about how the musician died”.

Lagos socialite Balogun Olamilekan Eletu popularly known as SamLarry was picked up by the Nigerian Police in their ongoing investigation into the death of Mohbad a former signee of Marlian Record.

S.P Benjamin Hundeyin has posted a tweet revealing that SamLarry is in their custody and is currently “assisting” with an ongoing investigation.

In a screenshot that is alleged to contain a statement by SamLarry, SamLarry asserts that he had paid the late singer Mohbad N2 million to perform at his mother’s annual remembrance but Mohbad did not turn up.

SamLarry narrates that he inquired from Mohbad why he did not come as planned and Mohbad said that he was sick and thus could not be live at the event to perform.

SamLarry alleges that he asked for a refund but Mohbad said that he lost his phone and money after the NDLEA’s raid leaving him penniless.
