ICYMI: Here Is A Spotlight On AMVCA Biggest Awardees

The sixth edition of the Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards (AMVCA) on the 1st of September was definitely one to remember with winners all over Africa.

Over 120 nominations from Ghana, Kenya, Malawi, Nigeria and South Africa battle for 27 awards. Some of the winners included Bisola Aiyeola for the Trailblazer award; Dolapo Adeleke’s This Is It won the Best TV/Drama/Comedy Series; Falz won the Best Supporting actor for his role in New Money while the Best Cinematography Award went to Yinka Edward for Okafor’s Law.

Jade Osibeni

Osibeni for her films, Isoken clinched the awards for Best Director and Best Movie West Africa. With so much to offer, Osibeni has changed the game.

Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde

One of TIME’s Most Influential Women in the world, yet again, received the award for her first film, Alter Ego.

Adjetey Anang

The Ghanaian actor won his first AMVCA award for his stellar role in Keteke.
