Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck finalise divorce without spousal support
Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck have officially settled their divorce, just four months after Lopez filed to end their two-year marriage. According to court documents obtained by CNN, neither party has requested spousal support, signaling a clean break for the Hollywood power couple.
Lopez filed for divorce in August on the anniversary of their 2022 Riceboro, Georgia, wedding ceremony. The pair had initially eloped in a low-key Las Vegas wedding just a month prior.
Their split follows reports of growing tension, including Lopez cancelling her summer tour to focus on her family and the couple putting their Beverly Hills home on the market for sale.

The two first met over 20 years ago on the set of the comedy Gigli, where they played criminal accomplices and sparked a real-life romance that became a media sensation. Though they both married and had children with other partners in the years that followed, “Bennifer” fans were thrilled when they rekindled their romance in 2021, dubbing it “Bennifer 2.0.”
While their storybook reunion has now come to an end, it’s clear their decades-long journey—from young lovers to mature partners—has left a mark on pop culture.
