Kanye West and Kim Kardashian were among the guests of honour at the opening night of “The Cher Show” on Broadway which held yesterday and they managed to make an impact.

Kim Kardashian on her part suffered a wardrobe malfunction in the shredded silver gown that she wore to the event while Kanye West came under blast for using his phone during the performance.

Broadway actor Jarrod Spector, who plays the late Sonny Bono in the show was not pleased with Kanye’s action and took to Twitter to call out the “Famous” rapper. He tweeted,

“Hey @kanyewest so cool that you’re here at @TheCherShow!’ the 37-year-old performer said on Twitter. ‘If you look up from your cell phone you’ll see we’re doing a show up here. It’s opening night. Kind of a big deal for us. Thanks so much.”

The “Gold Digger” rapper who didn’t respond to Spector directly then took to Twitter to address his presence at the show and perceived “lack of etiquette”, by writing,

‘To Cher and the Cher show team … the dynamics of Cher and Sonny’s relationship made Kim and I grab each other’s hand and sing “I got you babe,”‘ adding, “please pardon my lack of etiquette.”

Kanye added,

“We have so much appreciation for the energy you guys put into making this master piece.”
