Popular Nollywood actor, Kenneth Okonkwo has spoken about the ongoing presidential election tribunal going on in Abuja and its postponement.

The “Living in Bondage” actor had earlier posted a picture of himself with the caption:

“I bring you greetings from the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal sitting at the COA with love. We have commenced the legal fireworks at the Tribunal. We that are representing His Excellency @PeterObi are in high spirits, relying on your prayers to succeed by the grace of God”.


The veteran actor who is standing as a representative of the LP presidential candidate, Peter Obi, tweeted the process on his handle. He said,
“We have a formidable team of legal luminaries representing #PeterObi. From left is the head of the team, Livy Uzoukwu SAN, Awa Kalu SAN, Benbella Anachebe SAN, Kenneth Okonkwo Esq, and a host of other experienced lawyers. May God grant us the wisdom to recover the people’s mandate.”

The Presidential Election Petitions Tribunal began pre-hearing the petitions challenging the outcome of the February 25 presidential election on Monday.

The veteran actor also talked about the postponement of the process, encouraging their follower not to lose hope, while posting a picture of himself and one of the SAN during the process.

He wrote, “After a brief pre-hearing trial, the case was adjourned to Wednesday, 10th May 2023 at 2 pm prompt. With me is Alex Ejesieme SAN.
